Businessmen share reasons for choosing Hongqiao Intl CBD

The Hongqiao International Central Business District (CBD) is enhancing its strength in transportation, exhibitions, business, and scientific and technological innovation, attracting many companies eager to capitalize on its unique advantages.

Henan International Cooperation Group, active in Africa's engineering and mining markets, recently launched a new subsidiary, Hainan Zhongyu, to explore the coffee trade. They chose Hongqiao 365 in the CBD for their debut, participating in the Global Coffee Green Bean Competition, where their Kenyan and Burundian beans won awards.

"Hongqiao 365 is our ideal partner," said Li Ying, strategic development director at Hainan Zhongyu. The company is set to open a new booth at Hongqiao 365's International Coffee Harbor, utilizing the area's logistics and live-streaming facilities to expand their coffee trade.

The district's appeal extends beyond coffee. Last October, Luye Medical Group opened the Shanghai Celebright Plastic Surgery Hospital at the New Hongqiao International Medical Center.

Ding Liwei, vice-president of Luye Medical, praised Hongqiao's efficient approval processes and supportive policies for foreign medical practitioners. What attracts businesses is the high-quality services and immense market potential here, Ding added.

Hongqiao has attracted 242 multinational headquarters and 43 international trade institutions, remaining a key player in the pioneering of new development paths and enhancement of urban capabilities.
