Over 40 home textile companies from Nantong in Jiangsu province attended the China International Trade Fair for Home Textiles and Accessories – Spring Edition in Shanghai on March 11.
At this exhibition, Nantong has a strong lineup of exhibitors, with a booth area of 1,600 square meters, showcasing the advantages of the entire home textile industry chain through physical displays, experiential scenes, and online interactions.
Locally incubated industrial Internet companies have built a convenient and efficient home textile supply and demand platform, enabling purchasers and suppliers to easily access a vast amount of high-quality resources.
For the first time, the Nantong designer exhibition group participated independently, bringing together 12 design agencies, becoming one of the highlights of the exhibition. Each design agency has launched a variety of innovative products that integrate ergonomics, material science, and artistic aesthetics, showcasing the local design strength.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Zhang Jian Cup Design Competition. The award ceremony for the Zhang Jian Cup • 2024 China International Home Textile Product Design Competition was held simultaneously at the venue, and the 2025 edition was launched simultaneously.
The home textile market in Nantong has over 90,000 operating entities, including research and development design companies, finished product manufacturing companies, fabric and accessory suppliers, and e-commerce companies.
Last year, the home textile market's transaction volume in the city exceeded 240 billion yuan ($33.20), with online sales exceeding 110 billion yuan. The Nantong International Home Textile Industrial Park has become a representative of large-scale, distinctive, outstanding, influential, and widely covered production-oriented professional markets in China.
