DeepSeek has become one of this year's hottest artificial intelligence (AI) topics. In less than two months, numerous enterprises and platforms in Shaanxi province have announced full DeepSeek integration, accelerating AI adoption in laboratories, manufacturing, telemedicine, and cultural tourism.
Xi'an Zhongke Lide IR Technology Co, a leading player in Shaanxi's photonics industry, specializes in intelligent infrared electro-optical devices.
"AI has become key to overcoming technical challenges. Previously difficult tasks can now be efficiently completed," said Liu Wei, chairman and general manager of the company. With DeepSeek, product upgrades take only one or two days.
Xi'an BuzzlySoft Technology Co integrated DeepSeek into the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University's liver surgery department in February, aiming to establish new digital healthcare scenarios within three to six months. "Our intelligent telemedicine system resolves data exchange challenges, and DeepSeek accelerates integration," said Mu Yongfeng, the company's general manager.
Shaanxi's cultural tourism sector is also utilizing AI. During this year's Spring Festival holiday, attractions like Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum and Xi'an City Wall saw increased digital engagement.
"AI enhances tourism management and visitor experiences," noted Huang Huichuan, product director of Shaanxi YunChuang Network Technology Co, which developed the province's smart tourism monitoring platform.
The National Supercomputing Center in Xi'an is also collaborating on DeepSeek model adaptation and strengthening AI computing infrastructure.
Shaanxi has introduced an implementation plan to accelerate AI industry development. By 2026, the AI (big data) industry chain is expected to surpass 100 billion yuan ($13.8 billion), with key AI technologies applied across the industrial sector. More than 100 innovative application scenarios will emerge, significantly enhancing AI-driven industry empowerment.
