Shandong holds intl cultural tourism promotion meeting in Malaysia

Representatives of cultural tourism bureaus, travel agencies, and airlines from around the globe gathered at the Malaysia-Shandong Inbound Tourism Market Promotion Meeting from March 8 to 9 in Malaysia, which has maintained close cultural and tourism cooperation with Shandong.

The event, featuring the theme "Hometown of Confucius, Friendly Shandong", was held by the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, injecting new vitality into culture and tourism cooperation between the two regions.

At the event, Shandong staff introduced Shandong's cultural history, immersive performances, local cuisine, and the proposed international tourism reward policies. They focused on promoting several travel routes suitable for Malaysian tourists, including the "Climb Mount Tai, Pay Homage to Confucius" tour route from Tai'an to Jining, presenting various and rich culture and tourism offerings and showcasing the province's unique charm.
