Hou Xiaoyu, an employee of China Railway Taiyuan Group's Xinchuang company, explained that to ensure a comfortable journey for elderly travelers, the itinerary was designed to explore the warmer southern regions during spring. To enhance the travel experience, the train operates on a "fast travel, slow sightseeing" basis.
Cheng Chaofang, the conductor of train Y402, mentioned that train attendants regularly check on elderly passengers' health and provide daily necessities such as reading glasses and portable raincoats to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable journey.
China Railway Taiyuan Group plans to launch several more tourism trains this year, including routes to Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and Xinjiang, to meet the diverse travel needs of tourists.
