The Netherland's World Horticultural Center launched its China headquarters in Jinan, Shandong province, on Feb 19, becoming the institution's third global center.
The headquarters will serve as a key platform for strengthening agricultural exchanges and practical cooperation between the Netherlands and China.
The center, invested and built by the Jinan Urban Construction Group, will be developed into an industrial innovation complex that showcases world-class modern agriculture, horticultural technology, and industry chains.
The decision to build the center in Shandong highlights the province's pivotal role as a major agricultural hub in both domestic and international horticulture. It offers an important platform for deepening agricultural cooperation with the Netherlands and will serve as a model for advancing Shandong's agricultural strength and openness.
