Guilin Lijiang River loop outdoor sport route wins national recognition

The Guilin Lijiang River loop outdoor sport route in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region was selected among the list of the 2025 Spring Festival Holiday Outdoor Sports Boutique Routes, which was announced on Jan 22 by the General Administration of Sports.

The route spans approximately 200 kilometers, leveraging the stunning landscapes along the Lijiang River, renowned for being home to the best scenery under heaven. 

It starts from the Guilin Sports Center and passes through historical sites such as the century-old Daxu Ancient Town and Qianjing Ancient Village, offering the chance to experience rural life by staying in ancient residences and cycle through the beautiful Xingping Ancient Town. 

Activities like rock climbing, cave exploration, and via ferrata are also included, adding a sense of challenge and fun to the route.
