This extraordinary piece holds the title of the largest, most complete and most intricately crafted Jun kiln incense burner ever found in China. About 42.7 cm high, it has a mesmerizing blue glaze with varying shades. Bold beast and dragon motifs perfectly complement the rich flowing glaze. Its inscription reveals the burner was crafted on the 15th day of the ninth lunar month of the jiyou year by a craftsman surnamed Song, during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368).
