Winter fishing season begins at Yueliangpao Reservoir in Jilin

On Dec 30, the much-anticipated winter fishing event at Yueliangpao Reservoir in Da'an, Jilin province began, running until Jan 12.

Around noon, as the fishing nets were slowly pulled up, thousands of fresh fish, including bighead carp, silver carp, and grass carp, emerged from beneath the icy waters. The breathtaking sight of fish leaping from the frozen lake brought energy and warmth to the chilly winter day.
