Jilin's Hongshilazi town shimmers in rime beauty

Hongshilazi town in Huadian city, Jilin province, recently became the site of a rime spectacle.

The rime-covered trees stretch for more than 10 kilometers, creating a silver-glass world hazy in fog.

Rime occurs when the water droplets in fog freeze to the outer surfaces of objects. The rare natural display offers a unique photo opportunity for travelers.
