The 2024 Ordos Intelligent Connected Industry System Conference will be held on Dec 23 at the Ordos International Convention and Exhibition Center.
The Ordos municipal government and the China Society of Automotive Engineers will host the event, which will feature a concurrent intelligent connected vehicle (ICV) innovation exhibition from Dec 22 to 24.
Three major highlights promise to captivate attendees.
Highlight 1: Cutting-edge achievements in "vehicle-road-cloud integration"
As the only dual-pilot city for ICV applications in Northwest China, Ordos will showcase its groundbreaking results and innovations in "vehicle-road-cloud integration" pilot projects.
The exhibition of intelligent connected heavy-duty trucks and mining vehicles operating in long-haul logistics and smart mining scenarios will be a key focus.
The conference will unveil Ordos' ICV policy framework, launch the "Unified Action Declaration for Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration," and introduce the Ordos Automotive Ecosystem Development Fund.
The event will also kick off the establishment of standards and evaluation systems for intelligent mining vehicles, laying the foundation for a sustainable ICV industrial system in Ordos.
Highlight 2: Industry leaders empowering multi-scenario applications
The innovation exhibition will bring together key industry players such as Huawei, Baidu, China Mobile, and China Unicom. These companies will present their latest technologies, driving advancements in "vehicle-road-cloud integration" across diverse application scenarios.
Highlight 3: Practical collaboration for a smarter Ordos
The conference will feature insights from leading strategic experts and offer multifaceted strategies for advancing pilot projects in "vehicle-road-cloud integration."
It will also facilitate in-depth exchanges across the entire industrial system, spanning software, hardware, and application scenarios. This collaboration aims to accelerate the large-scale demonstration of ICVs in logistics and smart mining, further supporting Ordos' vision of becoming a "smart and warm city."
