Shanxi advances construction of renowned TCM heritage studios

North China's Shanxi province has been advancing the construction of renowned traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) heritage studios to continuously provide advantageous resources for the academic inheritance, development, and talent cultivation of TCM in the province.

The construction of these studios represents an effective method and innovative model for exploring TCM academic inheritance, promotion, application, and talent cultivation. They also serve as a significant platform for the development of TCM.

Currently, the province has established three national master TCM heritage studios, six national renowned TCM heritage studios, and two national academic school heritage studios. Additionally, there are 52 national renowned TCM expert heritage studios, 48 grassroots national renowned TCM expert heritage studios, 136 provincial renowned TCM heritage studios, and 100 grassroots provincial renowned TCM heritage studios.

The heritage studios at all levels have compiled medical cases and manuscripts of renowned TCM experts to establish clinical experience and literature databases, publish papers, or author books. This has yielded many clinical diagnoses, treatment plans, and other achievements that have been widely applied in clinical practices.

By summarizing and refining TCM academic experiences, exploring new talent cultivation models, and creating an environment conducive to TCM talent development, the studios have strengthened the construction of TCM talent teams and enhanced TCM academic standards and service capabilities.
