In order to further enhance the international visibility and influence of the upcoming China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), the island province held a special activity during the Hainan Free Trade Port Global Promotion Event held by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 4th.
Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Hainan Province, CICPE is China's first national-level consumer products exhibition. Now in its fifth year, it has become the Asia-Pacific region’s largest consumer boutique exhibition, a global consumer boutique gathering place, and a weather vane for what’s happening in the consumer marketplace; it also provides an important platform both for companies from around the world to share in Chinese market opportunities and for Chinese enterprises to go global.
The platform created by the Hainan Expo has led to numerous top international brands (such as Estée Lauder, De Beers, and Compagnie Financière Richemont SA) making the decision to further cultivate the Chinese market via investing in and starting businesses in the Hainan Free Trade Port. Reflected in the record-breaking numbers (over 370,000 visitors to the main venue, more than 55,000 professional buyers, 4,019 brands from 71 countries and regions, and the worldwide release of nearly 1,500 new products) at the fourth Hainan Expo—in 2024—this bright business card for the FTP has already become a bridge connecting international and domestic markets.
The 5th China International Consumer Products Expo will be held from April 13 - 18, 2025. No matter where you are from or what you do, Hainan sincerely invites you to visit the Free Trade Port, to join us at this global consumer goods event, and to share in new opportunities. At the same time, Hainan promises to continue its focus on global consumer products, to gather more high-quality domestic and foreign consumer product resources for global buyers and sellers, and to strive to build a leading place for global consumer fashion display.
