Jinan named '2024 China Exhibition Brand City'

Jinan was honored the title of "China's 2024 Exhibition Brand City" at the 2024 China Convention and Exhibition Brand Development Conference held in Beijing on Dec 5.

The conference focused on cutting-edge topics such as digital transformation, green and sustainable development, professionalized services, and internationalization, with more than 800 participants engaging in in-depth discussions on the future development of the convention and exhibition industry.

In recent years, Jinan has been enacting measures to promote the high-quality development of its convention and exhibition industry, including fostering independent brands, attracting high-end exhibitions, cultivating key enterprises, and optimizing the business environment.

Jinan enjoys unique advantages when it comes to transportation and industry, which contribute to the growth of its convention and exhibition industry.

For example, the Jinan Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center in western Jinan was launched in November 2023 and has hosted nearly 40 events, contributing to an overall exhibition economy scale of approximately 20 billion yuan ($2.76 billion).
