OVC companies products and services make premium lists

Companies in the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) had 22 items listed among 35 products and services selected as part of the recently released first "Wuhan Premium" list, accounting for 63 percent of Wuhan's total.

OVC's selected products and services include YOFC's optical fiber products, FiberHome's FTTR whole-home optical broadband products, Huazhong CNC's devices, FENJIN's robotic devices, and Landing Medical High-tech's fully automatic digital remote pathological cell analyzer.

The Wuhan market supervision and administration bureau designates "Wuhan Premium" as products, services, and projects produced, provided, or constructed by operating entities in Wuhan that meet advanced domestic standards. They must also ensure stable and reliable quality, showcase outstanding innovation capabilities, and possess a good social reputation.

Wuhan will grant a reward of 100,000 yuan ($13,801.38) to entities awarded "Wuhan Premium" and encourage supermarkets, hotels, scenic spots, and exhibition halls to set up "Wuhan Premium" display counters.

In March, the first batch of "Hubei Premium" products honored 14 products or services from 12 OVC companies, including Wuhan Huagong Laser Engineering Co's laser cutting machine and Wuhan Eastwit Technology Co's video operation and maintenance networking platform.
