Chai Zhiai, 49, returned to his hometown Huangbi'ao township 10 years ago to take over the family's fishery business, mainly breeding large yellow croakers and sea bass. As he explained, the biggest challenge in fishery is germs.

Luckily, the local government provides technical help for professionals. Local authorities overseeing the fishery industry undertake site visits on a monthly basis to provide breeding guidance. Any fish fry nurturing and hatching company set up in Xiangshan will ensure the health of the fish from the very early stage, said Chai.
