The first batch of bracken products from Quzhou to South Korea cleared customs on Dec 3.
These bracken products underwent more than 10 processes, including boiling, drying, soaking, and sterilizing.
Jiangshan Yongjiang Food Co — producer of the very batch — specializes in the research, production, and sale of vegetable products. During a market survey in South Korea, the company observed the high popularity of bracken among local consumers and quickly capitalized on the opportunity, successfully securing its first order to export bracken products to South Korea.

"This batch of boiled bracken, valued at 150,000 yuan ($20,636), marks our first export to South Korea. We also have a batch of boiled bamboo shoots prepared for export to South Korea soon," said Zhuang Peisen, the company's manager.
In recent years, Yongjiang Food has been implementing technical improvements and focusing on the development and production of new products. Meanwhile, the company has been attending domestic and international trade fairs to expand its sales channels.
The company currently boasts three self-owned brands, with products being exported to Japan, the United States, India, Malaysia, and several other countries.
