Jining in Shandong province has launched a series of winter tourism activities all through December, offering initiatives like "Stay in Jining, Visit Three Confucian Sites for Free" to cater to diverse and unique tourism demands of residents and visitors.
Jining will exempt tickets for major scenic spots such as the three Confucian sites, two Mencius sites, Weishan Lake, and Liangshan Mountain for those staying in Jining. Free admission is available for 72 scenic spots, with 64 hotels actively participating.
Moreover, the city organizes tourism activities themed "Touring Around Jining", presenting 22 exquisite routes, 18 ways to "Pay Homage to Confucius and Seek Holy Sites", and other art events performing excellent mass literary and artistic works to benefit the public.
To enrich nighttime cultural and tourism consumption, Jining nurtures unique culinary experiences, creating shared dining scenes like specialty food demonstration stores, food streets, and food towns for locals and visitors alike.
Furthermore, to improve rural tourism, Jining has introduced 18 educational travel routes under the theme "Exploring Jining with Confucius", which offers high-quality rural tourism products for stays of two days or three days and promotes a tourism model of enjoying the countryside.
