"Zidong Taichu" is a multimodal model developed by the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in collaboration with the Wuhan Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research Institute. First introduced in 2021, it has since undergone three iterations.
The newly released 3.0 version features significant advancements in algorithm optimization, data processing, and model training. "Zidong Taichu" 3.0 was recently awarded the leading technology award at the 2024 World Internet Conference.
Shen Yue, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone, emphasized that the zone will use its advantages in the optoelectronic information industry to fully embrace AI. He stated that OVC aims to be at the forefront of AI innovation, accelerating the development and elevation of the AI industry.
To date, OVC has fostered leading enterprises in fields such as computing servers, databases, operating systems, and large models. An AI section has been established on the innovation supply chain platform, focusing on advanced manufacturing, healthcare, intelligent connected vehicles, and humanoid robots, so as to develop a series of influential vertical models.
