The 2024 Xi'an City Commercial Brand Development Conference and Yueying Chang'an Brand Consumption Week, hosted by Xi'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce, officially kicked off in Xi'an, Shaanxi province in Northwest China on November 28. The event aims to boost local consumption and attract domestic and international businesses to invest in the region.
Pei Liang, honorary president of China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA), emphasized during his speech at the opening ceremony that Xi'an, as the only national central city in Northwest China, plays a pivotal strategic role. He highlighted its active integration into national strategies and the Belt and Road Initiative, driving the upgrading of industry and consumption, thus creating favorable conditions for the growth of commercial brands.
Pei also noted that China’s consumer market is at a crucial turning point, making brand building more important than ever. He stressed the need for innovation in product strength, service experience, and brand heritage to succeed in this transformative period.
Zheng Wei, deputy director of Xi'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said in his speech that Xi'an was once the starting point of the ancient Silk Road and now is an important node of the Belt and Road Initiative. In recent years, the municipal Party committee and government have placed great importance on the development of commercial brands, promoted efforts to build urban brands, and achieved significant results in optimizing commercial layouts, enriching business formats, improving the consumer environment, and driving commercial innovation.
Zheng aims to create more opportunities for local brands in Xi'an to engage and collaborate with renowned domestic and international brands through this conference, helping them expand nationally and globally.
The 2024 Xi'an Commercial Real Estate Brand Research White Paper offers valuable insights for business decision-making through comprehensive data and in-depth analysis.
In addition, five local commercial enterprises in Xi'an and five from outside the city signed cooperation agreements at the conference. Moving forward, all parties will collaborate closely to explore new market opportunities, injecting fresh momentum into the development of Xi'an's commercial brand partnerships.
