The China International Travel Mart (CITM) 2024 opened in Shanghai on November 22. Over 1,000 exhibitors and nearly 600 travel agents from more than 80 countries and regions participated.

The event featured six specialized exhibition areas and hosted over 600 professional offline buyer-seller meetings.

A total of 35 enterprises from Southwest China's Guizhou province attended the event, which aimed to expand domestic and international tourism markets. Ten of them prepared various tourism products for travel agents.

Travel agents from Vietnam, Malaysia, Germany, and Japan visited the Guizhou pavilion to experience ethnic customs, taste Guizhou cuisine, learn about tourism resources and products, and discuss business opportunities.

Tourism associations and agencies from Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam invited Guizhou to conduct promotional activities in their respective countries. Delegations from Malaysia and Vietnam also expressed interest in visiting Guizhou for field trips and expanding the tourism market.

In recent years, Guizhou has focused on resources, tourists, and services. It has launched connected flights and chartered buses, making it easier for domestic and international tourists to enjoy more scenic spots.

As China expands its mutual visa exemption policy with more countries, Guizhou will optimize its tourism products and routes, creating a convenient service environment to attract more overseas tourists.
