On Thursday, the "Forever Red Art Cavalry of the Grassland" themed performance was held in Ejin Horoo Banner in Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Artists from Ulaanmochir troupes across the region presented 11 newly created dance, music, and opera pieces, delighting the audience with vibrant performances and winter cheer.
Meaning "red bud" in Mongolian, Ulaanmochir is the Mongolian name for traveling troupes that go from one grazing site to another, performing for people in some of China's most remote areas.
