The Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) held an innovation and development conference on Nov 18 for the intelligent connected vehicle software industry.
The OVC Intelligent Connected Vehicle Software Industrial Park was officially unveiled during the conference. This collaborative effort aims to develop a 10-billion-yuan ($1.38 billion) industrial cluster for intelligent connected vehicle software.

The industrial park, led by Wuhan KOTEI Informatics Co, began construction in 2020 and is the world's first specialized park focusing on "intelligent connected vehicle software".
The park covers an area of over 88,000 square meters and can accommodate more than 5,000 engineers. It aims to foster international automotive software talent, innovate digital and intelligent software engineering, and promote collaborative industrial ecosystem development.

As its facilities are gradually completed and improved, the park will become the world's only comprehensive innovation space integrating research and development, incubation, production, exhibition, and operational services for automotive electronic software.
Zhu Dunyao, chairman of KOTEI Informatics, highlighted that OVC boasts significant advantages in talent, technology, and industrial foundations. As a leader in the "software-defined vehicle" revolution and a promoter of automotive digital transformation, KOTEI Informatics will actively drive regional industrial integration and the comprehensive development of economic and social undertakings.
An OVC official emphasized that the zone will continue to increase capital support, optimize industrial policies, and enhance the business environment. By partnering with enterprises, OVC aims to pioneer the future of the intelligent connected vehicle software industry.
