Tianjin Airlines has launched a direct flight between Hohhot and Zhuhai, significantly enhancing connectivity between Inner Mongolia autonomous region and the Pearl River Delta region. This new route, which began on Nov 18, will cut travel time to just three hours, addressing the inconvenience of previous transit journeys that often took over a day.
Flight GS6635 departs Hohhot at 9:00 am and lands in Zhuhai at 11:55 am, while return flight GS6636 departs Zhuhai at 1:15 pm and arrives in Hohhot at 4:15 pm. The route operates four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using the Embraer E190 aircraft.
Tianjin Airlines is also introducing cost-saving travel packages, including flexible flight packages and "Shared Fly" cards. These allow passengers to redeem flights for domestic routes across 11 airlines under the HNA Group, providing flexible and affordable travel choices.
The new direct route facilitates greater exchange between Hohhot and Zhuhai, benefiting government, corporate, and personal travel while boosting regional economic development. It also underscores Tianjin Airlines’ commitment to optimizing its route network and meeting travel needs with enhanced convenience and accessibility.
This milestone solidifies Hohhot's role as a hub for regional connectivity and opens new opportunities for collaboration between Inner Mongolia and southern China.
