Guizhou shines at 15th Airshow China in Zhuhai

The 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) is taking place in Zhuhai, South China's Guangdong province, on Nov 12-17. This year's event has attracted over 890 companies from 47 countries and regions, some of which are from Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The 10th Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, based in Guiyang, showcased its latest anti-drone equipment. The FK-4000 weapon system, making its debut, can be used to intercept light and micro drone clusters.

It uses high-power microwaves to precisely damage single targets or cause area damage to clustered targets.

The Aviation Industry Corporation of China from Anshun exhibited the JJ-9G aircraft, as well as the FTC-2000G multi-role aircraft designed for attack, with additional capabilities for air combat and training.

Furthermore, Colorful Guizhou Airlines signed a C909 aircraft order with Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, promoting the further development of the domestic aircraft market.

In recent years, Guizhou has taken advantage of its strength in national defense and military industries, focusing on areas such as trainer aircraft, drones, and key aerospace components.

It has expanded and extended related industrial chains, aiming to become a base for the R&D, manufacture, and maintenance of, as well as services for, weapons equipment involving aviation, aerospace, aero-engines, and electronics.
