The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), held in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10, featured Suzhou elements across multiple exhibition areas.
Making its debut at this year's CIIE, the Fine Crafts of Suzhou pavilion showcased over 300 Suzhou-style crafts and more than 4,000 derivative lifestyle products. The pavilion is set to open branches in Suzhou's Gusu district, Suzhou Industrial Park, Wujiang district, Xiangcheng district, and Beijing within the year.
In addition, several time-honored Suzhou brands launched new products at the expo, highlighting the innovative spirit of Suzhou enterprises.
Suzhou's technological prowess was also on display at the event, with Schott Glass Technologies (Suzhou) Co participating for the sixth year in a row. It presented products in fields such as chip manufacturing, augmented reality, electric vehicles, and life sciences this year, demonstrating the cutting-edge research and development capabilities of Suzhou-based companies.
According to the Suzhou Bureau of Commerce, more than 10,000 professional visitors from Suzhou registered for the 7th CIIE, the highest number of registrations in the province.
