The International Education Week EducationUSA College Fair opened on Nov 12 in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province. Representatives from 12 accredited US universities and testing agencies shared the latest trends and insights into American higher education.
This free event, organized by the US Consulate General in Shenyang and the EducationUSA Shenyang Office, celebrates International Education Week from Nov 18 to 22 and offers students in Northeast China a pathway to US higher education.
The two-day fair showcases various US institutions catering to prospective students' diverse needs, including public and private universities and community colleges. Representatives from the US Consulate, EducationUSA, and university admissions officers will visit Changchun Foreign Language School, Changchun American International School, and the International Division of Northeast Normal University. They will provide comprehensive guidance on studying in the US, admissions policies, and campus life.
Free lectures cover topics such as excelling in college applications and obtaining US visas, offering valuable insights for students and parents. The event underscores the importance of International Education Week, initiated by the US State Department and Department of Education, to foster global understanding and inspire future leaders to study in the US.
