From Nov 7 to 8, a delegation led by Daniel Tran, councilor of Paris's 13th arrondissement, visited Wuxi New District to foster cultural and industrial exchange.
During their visit, the delegation toured the China-EU Industrial Innovation Zone in the Meicun sub-district. A highlight of the visit was the delegation's tour of the Forvia factory, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the major French automotive parts manufacturer.
"This visit has given me confidence in the future of this French enterprise in China. I hope more French companies will establish a presence here," said Tran. He praised the industrial innovation zone for its favorable business environment and strong policy support for large enterprises and startups.
In addition to the industrial tour, the delegation visited several historical and cultural sites, including Meili Ancient Town, the Meicun Erhu Cultural Park, and the Meili Site Museum. They were impressed by Meicun's rich history and cultural heritage, which added depth to their exchange experience.
