The 7th China International Import Expo concluded on Nov 10 in Shanghai. Among the many highlights, Shandong province showed its rich cultural heritage through the 42 time-honored brands and intangible cultural heritage enterprises at the expo's cultural exchange activities.
This year, the Shandong pavilion featured seven distinct zones, each highlighting a different aspect of the province. Visitors were treated to a feast for the senses, from the world-famous Shandong cuisine to traditional Chinese medicine and the latest fashion.
During the six-day event, the Shandong pavilion attracted nearly 90,000 visitors, securing intended orders worth 210 million yuan ($29 million) and generating on-site sales of 7.12 million yuan.
Coinciding with the expo, the 4th China Time-honored Brand Innovation and Development Conference commended Shandong's efforts in building brand awareness, innovating cultural communication methods, and stimulating innovative development.
