At the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), enterprises from North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region engaged in extensive negotiations and signed significant contracts with international companies, further deepening their global partnerships.
This year, Inner Mongolia organized a delegation comprising over 1,200 units, with more than 3,600 professional attendees participating in the CIIE.
Baotou bureau of commerce helped enterprises access global high-quality resources, resulting in two major procurement deals. Baogang Group signed a framework agreement with Mongolian Energy Resources LLC for 5 million metric tons of coal, valued at 5.8 billion yuan ($801.38 million).
Baotou Tongli Home Appliances Co also inked a deal with Panasonic worth 80 million yuan.
Mengxin Chentai Agricultural Technology Development Co, a key procurement enterprise from Bayannuur city, signed orders totaling $15.37 million with a Kazakhstani supplier for agricultural products such as flaxseed and sunflower kernels.
"The CIIE platform is extremely important for our company, especially for businesses in inland cities like ours. It helps solve many procurement difficulties," said Yang Hu, chairman of Inner Mongolia Mengxin Chentai Agricultural Technology Development Co.
"Here, we can find high-quality clients, reduce procurement costs, and increase efficiency. That's why we participate in every CIIE and hope it continues to thrive," Yang added.
