The 2024 "Warm Coal" initiative in Otog Front Banner of Ordos city was recently completed. It distributed 6,439 metric tons of high-quality coal to 3,452 local farming and herding households.
Ensuring a coal supply for winter heating is a critical livelihood issue affecting thousands of families. The distribution of "Warm Coal" began at the end of September.
To guarantee adequate winter heating, Otog Front Banner adhered to a standard supply of 2 tons of coal per household. The coal provided is primarily high-calorific block coal, exceeding 4,200 kcal in calorific value, meeting the residents' specific burning needs.
