North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region signed 65 project agreements at the 2024 Inner Mongolia Investment Environment Promotion Conference, held on Nov 6 during the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE).
These projects cover new energy, new materials, equipment manufacturing, and the production and processing of green agricultural and livestock products.
Yang Zhigang, general manager of CGN New Energy Inner Mongolia Co, said, "We signed an agreement with the Horqin Right Front Banner of Hinggan League for the Suolun pumped storage power station project. A total investment of 9.48 billion yuan ($1.32 billion) is planned. We are confident in Inner Mongolia's investment and development prospects."
Zhao Na, director of the investment cooperation promotion department of the Inner Mongolia Department of Commerce, stated, "We look forward to discussing the future with friends at the CIIE who care about and support Inner Mongolia's development."
