The "Chang'an Dialogue" 2024 Xi'an and Multinational Companies Shanghai Forum took place in Shanghai on Nov 5, during the 7th China International Import Expo.
The event attracted representatives from chambers of commerce and key multinational companies from countries such as the United Kingdom, Japan, and the United States to uncover the boundless potential for investment cooperation.
During the dialogue, Xi'an presented its latest progress in key industry development and foreign-related legal services. It highlighted its firm efforts and significant achievements in building a world-class inland port and creating a market-oriented, rule-of-law-based, and internationalized first-class business environment.
Feng Yan, vice-president of Air Products in China, stated that since the company's investment in the Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone in 2012, it has collaborated with multiple key industry clients in electronics, photovoltaics, and other sectors. She expressed the company's hope to continue seeking new business opportunities to provide high-quality industrial gas infrastructure for relevant industries in Xi'an.
In recent years, Xi'an has actively engaged in global industrial cooperation and developed six pillar industries: electronics and information, automobiles, aerospace, high-end equipment, new materials and new energy, food, and biomedicine.
The dialogue demonstrated Xi'an's determination and economic vitality in opening-up and showcased its strong attractiveness in strategic opportunities, geographical advantages, scientific and technological innovation, industrial foundation, historical heritage, and business environment.
