The Jilin province delegation, led by Vice-governor Yang Andi, made a prominent appearance at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai on Nov 5. During the expo, the Jilin delegation participated in a series of events.
Jilin's delegation established 18 trade sub-teams. Eleven are led by cities, the Changbai Mountain Protection Development Management Committee, and Meihekou city, and seven are led by provincial departments such as the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
To maximize the expo's opportunities, Jilin encouraged a wide range of local enterprises to participate. These include companies in the automotive and parts industry, equipment manufacturing, agriculture and food, new materials, renewable energy, and institutions in business, tourism, education, culture, healthcare, and sports. A total of 1,604 registered participants and 3,610 attendees from the province took part.
Jilin set up a Cultural Exchange Pavilion at the expo, showcasing products from 19 local enterprises, including renowned brands such as Changbai Mountain Ginseng and Aodong Pharmaceutical. Over 400 premium products from Jilin were displayed, and 50 more were featured in online exhibitions highlighting the province's famous ginseng, liquor, and vegetables.
