Ludong University hosted an international Chinese education innovation and development seminar along with an international Chinese teaching skills competition from Oct 25 to 27, attracting participants from multiple universities in China.
The seminar took place on the morning of Oct 26. Ji Hongfang, vice-president of Ludong University, introduced the school's practical explorations in creating a strong international Chinese education platform, incubating achievements, and cultivating talents. She expressed the hope that through this conference, new approaches to the development of international Chinese education could be collectively explored.
During the group discussions, participants exchanged ideas on the core theme of "innovative development in theory and practice of international Chinese education". They explored topics on the dissemination of international Chinese education and excellent traditional Chinese culture, as well as issues related to language ontology for international Chinese education and cognitive and acquisition research.
In the afternoon, the international Chinese teaching skills competition took place. Since its launch in June this year, the competition has attracted over 40 teams from various universities in Shandong province, with a total of 29 teams advancing to the finals.
This seminar delved into the forefront hotspots of international Chinese education, effectively promoting the high-quality development of international Chinese education in the new era.
