The 2024 Jin-Li-Wen-Qu Tourism Alliance (Shaanxi) Promotion Week was officially launched on Wednesday in Xi'an, Northwest China’s Shaanxi province. The event aims to attract more tourists from the inland region on the Loess Plateau to explore four cities in East China’s Zhejiang province.
Officials from Xi'an Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism cultural and the tourism departments of four cities in Zhejiang province – Jinhua, Lishui, Wenzhou and Quzhou –as well as representatives from cultural and tourism enterprise and travel agencies gathered for the “Jiangnan Mysterious Realm" event.
This event was led by the Quzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism as the rotating unit of the alliance, jointly organized by the Jinhua Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, the Lishui Municipal Bureau of Culture and Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, and the Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism.
The goal is to strengthen market development and promotion, accurately tap into the customer base in the western region, and further enhance the brand awareness and influence of the Jinhua, Lishui, Wenzhou and Quzhou Tourism Alliance.
The tourism consortium has meticulously planned and launched a series of themed tours including the picturesque autumn scenery in the Jiangnan region (area to the south of the lower reaches of Yangtze River and where Zhejiang province is located), a new vacation experience of autumn therapy, health preservation and relaxation, as well as a journey through ancient and modern cultures.
To further enhance the "customer attraction" efforts of market entities such as travel agencies, the alliance's member units have introduced incentive policies, offering cash subsidies to continuously stimulate new consumption vitality.
In recent years, the Jin-Li-Wen-Qu Tourism Alliance has adhered to the strategy of combining "going out" and "inviting in." It has consistently innovated its promotion and publicity methods, actively building a new media marketing matrix, and placing special emphasis on leveraging the "attraction" effect of cultural and tourism experts. This approach has helped showcase the alliance's new cultural and tourism image and spread positive messages about its offerings.
Since its establishment in 2007, the Jin-Li-Wen-Qu Tourism Alliance has worked collaboratively to promote resource sharing, customer exchange, and market success for all parties. It has now become an important platform and a signature representation of the unique charm of "Poetry and Painting Zhejiang".
