The library in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA), Jiangsu province, is a prime destination to read and relax.
With a total area of around 9,000 square meters, the library is situated in Nengda Central Park, surrounded by picturesque landscapes.
It features various sections, such as reading areas dedicated to picture books, social sciences, natural sciences, and ancient texts. Additionally, it offers specialized reading rooms designed for young people, the visually impaired, and periodicals.
These areas collectively provide essential services for city residents, including document resource borrowing, retrieval and consultation, socio-educational activities, and promotion of reading culture.
In 2020, NETDA signed a strategic agreement with the National Library of China, hoping to fully utilize the national library's high-quality cultural resources to bolster the public cultural center in Nantong.
Over the past four years, efforts have been made to organize various reading activities, catering to people ranging from children to educators.
By providing a comprehensive range of services, this library functions as a seamless solution to meet the multifaceted cultural demands of the community, ensuring access to comfortable and accessible reading amenities.
