To ensure a reliable power supply for the 2025 Asian Winter Games, State Grid Harbin Electric Power Company has completed 86 power grid enhancement projects with a total investment of 560 million yuan ($78.62 million) this year.
The Games are scheduled to be held in Harbin, Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, in February next year.
These projects span the Harbin and Yabuli venues, covering infrastructure, distribution, substations, transmission, cables, protection and communication. They will provide robust power support for 13 venues and 51 key sites. All these projects have already been completed.
