On Oct 21, the "Belt and Road Youth Friendly Exchange Program: Foreign Media on Hohhot" officially launched in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, showcasing the city's modern development and rich cultural heritage. The event, running from October 21 to 25, welcomed 30 journalists from 19 countries across Eurasia and the Arab world, alongside multilingual Chinese and international reporters.
During the tour, the media delegation visited key sites such as the Chilechuan Grassland, Hohhot Urban Exhibition Center, Laoniuwan Yellow River Grand Canyon, and the Smart Park in Hohhot's Economic Development Zone. The goal of the event is to highlight Hohhot's achievements in modern development and its role as a regional center city in Inner Mongolia.

Aligned with the Inner Mongolia's directive for Hohhot to lead by example, the city has been fostering six major industry clusters and building a livable city to boost its position in the region. The visiting journalists recorded the city's unique charm through articles and photographs, spreading the story of Hohhot globally.
The initiative enhances Hohhot's international influence and demonstrates China's modernization efforts under the Belt and Road Initiative, which aims to promote peace and development while fostering global cooperation.
