A roundtable meeting on sharing new opportunities for high-quality coordinated development at Shanghai's Hongqiao International Opening-up Hub was held on Oct 18 in the city's Changning district.
Key figures in attendance included Zhong Xiaoyong, executive deputy director of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District Administrative Committee, and Liu Ping, deputy Party secretary of Changning district.
Addressing the roundtable, Zhong outlined the goals leading up to the completion of the Hongqiao International Opening-up Hub by 2025. He emphasized the hub's role in driving the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region, enhancing China's level of openness to the world, and bolstering new competitive advantages through international cooperation.
The administrative committee will further promote opening-up and provide better services to share the opportunities of Hongqiao with various enterprises, Zhong said.
Liu commended the collaborative efforts of the Yangtze River Delta Enterprise Federation. He highlighted Changning's strategic location advantages and its commitment to providing a broad stage for enterprises, entrepreneurs and innovators.
With greater openness, stronger collaboration, and an enhanced environment, Changning will continue to cultivate fertile ground for business development, supporting substantial growth for businesses and entrepreneurs in the district, he said.
