The 136th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is underway in three sessions from Oct 15 to Nov 4. The Shanxi delegation consists of 183 companies and has 445 booths.
According to the Department of Commerce of Shanxi Province, the first session includes 77 Shanxi companies with 169 booths, focusing on new energy vehicles, tools, household appliances, hardware, and small machinery. The second session comprises 87 Shanxi companies with 194 booths featuring glassware and daily ceramics. The third session involves 41 Shanxi companies with 82 booths showcasing food, household textiles, and fitness equipment.
"At this year's Canton Fair, our newly launched robots have been significantly improved in terms of AI algorithms, making robots more intelligent in walking and cleaning, while reducing production costs," said Kong Dezheng, publicity manager of Shanxi Jiashida Robot Technology Co. The company's products are exported to 52 countries and regions, with 80 percent of foreign trade orders coming from the Canton Fair.
Shanxi Chenggong Automobile Manufacturing Co, an auto manufacturer specializing in minibuses and trucks, introduces new energy multi-functional logistics vehicles at the fair. Wu Yingjian, the company's overseas sales manager, highlights the vehicles' long endurance, powerful performance, and spacious design. They have been sold to over 50 countries and regions worldwide.
Shanxi Ruifei Machinery Manufacturing Co, a high-tech enterprise specializing in food machinery, water treatment equipment, and packaging machinery, aims to meet new and existing clients at the Canton Fair to expand its global reach. Ren Xiaojun, the company's foreign trade manager, wants to secure more orders and promote the Shanxi brand worldwide through the fair's platform.
