Established in 1989, the WFGT promotes the most iconic towers worldwide and to enhance the experience for visitors. Currently, the platform boasts 53 tower members.
"While the tower functions as a modest observation deck atop a skyscraper, it offers a panoramic view of the entire cityscape. Effectively narrating a city's history and presenting its rich cultural heritage is our common vision, and this conference presents us an opportunity for mutual learning and growth," said Luo Jiu, member of the board of directors of WFGT and managing director of Canton Tower, who attended the event.
The Exploration Deck Viewing Gallery of Raffles City Chongqing, the event's venue, became the third Chinese member to host the WFGT conference after its inclusion in the WFGT last year, following the Canton Tower and Macao Tower.
Chongqing is a bustling metropolis in Southwest China with a population exceeding 30 million. It is dubbed an "eight-dimensional" city for its unique geographic location, as it is surrounded by rivers and mountains. It boasts outstanding skyscrapers and impressive skylines and is a hot tourist attraction.
