The 136th edition of the China Import and Export Fair, renowned as the Canton Fair, is poised to unfold in three phases in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, from Oct 15 to Nov 4.
Data from the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce reveals a milestone for the city, with over 4,000 exhibition booths to be included in the event, elevating Ningbo to the forefront in terms of number of booths among trade delegations nationwide. Nearly 1,500 local companies are gearing up to engage in all segments of the fair, with a robust turnout of more than 20,000 attendees expected.
The city will shine across multiple product categories, featuring 913 booths for household appliances, 293 for office supplies, 253 for tools, and 236 for household goods, constituting 17.1 percent, 17.1 percent, 8.1 percent, and 8 percent of the total exhibition booths in their respective categories.
Branded booths are projected to account for more than 32 percent of the total, eclipsing both national and provincial averages. Notably, all provincial export-renowned brands from Ningbo will be present at the fair, accentuating the premium quality and esteemed reputation of the city's offerings at the Canton Fair.
