National low-altitude economy expo to be held in Suzhou

The second National Low-Altitude Economy (Suzhou) Industry Innovation Expo is scheduled to take place in Suzhou from Oct 18 to 20, featuring conferences, exhibitions, competitions, and seminars.

Key players from major enterprises, research institutes, and industry associations within the low-altitude economy sector across the nation will gather for the opening ceremony. Attendees are going to witness the launch of the Suzhou Low-Altitude Economy Industry Alliance and the Suzhou Low-Altitude Economy Research Institute.

The opening ceremony will also unveil new low-altitude economic air routes and landing points, alongside the signing of several significant projects.

The expo is scheduled to host three major competitions, including the 2024 China Drone Racing League from Oct 18 to 21, the Youth Drone Competition on Oct 19, and the Drone Pilot Professional Skills Competition on Oct 20, gathering skilled professionals from the drone industry.

Furthermore, five seminars are to be conducted during the expo, addressing topics on financial support for low-altitude economic development, advancing the high-quality development of the low-altitude manufacturing supply chain, establishing standards for the growth of the low-altitude economy, fostering low-altitude application scenarios, and providing meteorological support for low-altitude economic development.

In addition, the expo will feature two interactive experiences to improve visitor engagement: a low-altitude market and a drone show. Attendees can explore a range of cultural products themed around the low-altitude economy and enjoy a captivating nighttime drone show, offering a spectacular audio-visual experience highlighting the allure of Suzhou's low-altitude technology and culture.
