The Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) hosted an auto brand promotion event on Oct 13 in Nanyang, Henan province.
The event coincided with the city's Dongfeng Auto Consumption Season launch, offering exclusive discounts and distributing car consumption vouchers to local teachers, healthcare workers, veterans, and model workers.
A local official noted that Nanyang will use the event to foster in-depth collaboration with WEDZ and Dongfeng Motor in areas such as core components for new energy vehicles and establishing new energy commercial vehicle production bases.
During the event, Dongfeng Motor signed an agreement with Weijia Automobile Group to establish the Dongfeng Auto Mall Nanyang Weijia Store. This store will feature Dongfeng's complete range of independent new energy brands, offering a one-stop service to integrate Dongfeng auto products into households throughout the city.
During the event, representatives from Dongfeng Motor handed over cars to eight delighted new owners. Car models were also presented to Nanyang healthcare workers, model workers, talents, and teachers.
This event is part of WEDZ's broader efforts to promote its auto brand nationwide, injecting momentum into the automotive industry's distribution and production sectors.
The Nanyang event showcased an impressive lineup of Dongfeng's new energy vehicles, including the Dongfeng M-Hero 917, Voyah Free, and Voyah Dream, captivating attendees and citizens alike.
