The Zhou fashion show was divided into four major themed chapters, with models from around the world interpreting the culture of the dynasty in a way that blended ancient and modern, and Chinese with Western styles.
Jacques Ferrier, a well-known architectural designer who designed the French Pavilion for the Shanghai World Expo, said it was the first time he had seen such a show in France, where Chinese fashion, culture and tourism were blended so organically.
Zhou Bing, chairman of Shaanxi Tourism Group, said that interpreting Chinese culture in a universal language has always been the company’s responsibility and mission.
Zhou added that the group plans to combine more cultural and tourism products with fashion and technology, striving to create models of cultural confidence to help the world better understand China in the new era.
