The East Asia Marine Expo 2024 will be held in the coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province from Oct 24 to 26.

The expo is an important supporting event of the 2024 Global Ocean Development Forum, with a total exhibition area of 60,000 square meters, and plans to set up four major categories and six professional exhibition areas for ocean industries, including the marine development achievement exhibition area of Shandong. The event mainly focuses on equipment technology, solutions, and achievements in coastal development, marine new materials, marine emergency response, and marine engineering and technology.

The exhibition will be a platform for academic research, technological exhibitions, and international cooperation in marine resource development, marine ecological protection, marine energy utilization, and marine technology innovation.

The 2024 Global Ocean Development Forum is an international forum for maritime affairs co-sponsored by the Shandong government and the Ministry of Natural Resources. It is one of the largest and most influential international ocean cooperation events in China.

A major part of the forum, the East Asia Marine Expo is on its seventh session and has become a well-known ocean exhibition where companies come to exchange technologies, display products, share achievements, and find investment opportunities. It serves as an important channel deeply integrated into developing the Belt and Road Initiative.
