At SERES Auto Super Factory located in Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area, over 3,000 robots work in collaboration to achieve 100 percent automation in crucial processes and enable 24-hour online quality monitoring.
"The factory has developed a cutting-edge automation testing technology for quality control," said Kang Bo, vice-president of the Group. "This technology enables 100 percent quality monitoring and traceability, ensuring the exceptional quality of every vehicle."
Being a center for the automotive industry in the southwestern municipality, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area has attracted prominent complete vehicle manufacturers such as Changan Automobile, Chang'an Ford and SERES, along with approximately 200 core component enterprises.
Statistics show, in the first half of this year, Chongqing produced 1.21 million vehicles, ranking top in China. The production of new energy vehicles in the city reached 391,000 units, marking a 150 percent year-on-year surge and securing the highest growth rate among China's top 10 provinces and cities in automobile production.
