Inner Mongolia Ordos Investment Holding Group has secured the 184th position on the 2024 Top 500 Chinese Manufacturing Enterprises list, with a reported revenue of 68.08 billion yuan ($9.71 billion).
This list was unveiled at the 2024 World Manufacturing Convention held in Hefei, Anhui province, on Sept 20 and was published by the China Enterprise Confederation and the China Enterprise Directors Association.
As a pioneering large-scale enterprise in the cashmere industry and a proud representative of Chinese national brands, the Ordos group not only leads the upgrading of the cashmere sector but also integrates into the national strategy of "vigorously promoting the construction of a modern industrial system and accelerating the development of new productive forces".
In 2023, driven by technological innovation, the Ordos group achieved several significant milestones, including the creation of the world's first mercury-free PVC production line using the calcium carbide method, the establishment of a globally leading silicon-based alloy innovation factory, and the development of a multi-energy complementary industrial microgrid and unique clean environmental protection industries.
