Crowne Plaza Holiday Hotel opens in NETDA

The Crowne Plaza Holiday Hotel, part of the InterContinental Hotel Group, opened its doors in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area on Sept 26.

The hotel's opening underscores the rapid development of NETDA. The area, which is one of the first 14 national-level development zones in China, is gearing up to celebrate its 40th anniversary. With a per capita GDP reaching 26.33 million yuan ($37,541) last year, it ranked 21st in the comprehensive development assessment of 230 national-level economic development zones in 2023, solidifying its position among the top development zones in the country.
